Two metres should easily make covers for four average size cushions.

Cotton natural fabric creates beautiful piped cushions.

3.    Cushions are perfect for show casing expensive fabrics (see 2. above).

Curtain fabric and blind fabric in the same room can then be made in lower cost materials in contrasting patterns or colours to complete a luxurious scheme.

Embroidered James Hare fabric is ideal for a splash of luxury.

TOP TIP:

It is best to avoid fabrics which are very flimsy or have a loose weave as these will not hold their shape or wear very well. Silk material, natural fabrics in linen and most types of cotton will all make a perfect cushion cover.
